Just head about a neat event being held at Rady JCC next week: the Bump Bash!

“Join us for a fun evening, connecting with other parents-to-be and experts on bringing home baby, and positive parenting. Treat yourself to a night out, mock-tails included! Special guests: Cathy McDougall (Public Health nurse, WRHA), Shawna Matthes (Triple P Parenting) Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00pm in the Berney Theatre foyer.”

The Winnipeg Belly and Baby Fair is this weekend!

The fair will take place Saturday October 26th at the Earl Grey Community Centre from 10am to 2pm and admission is free.

Presented by Fit4Two, the Belly and Baby Fair is “a fun, free, interactive day for expectant and new families, featuring local organizations, products and services.”

In addition to information from 40 local groups, there will be plenty of prizes and fun activities (mini-massages? yes please!), music, a craft sale, play area, a nursing area, change station, and food vendors. I’ve never been to this event but have friends who’ve gone in previous years and they report that it’s great.
