I heard about a great free Prenatal Fitness and pelvic floor health event happening this Wednesday at Bronx Park Community Centre. From Fit4Two Winnipeg East:
“FREE EVENT + Door Prizes from Bump Maternity & more!

Special guest: Lynne Gagnon, physiotherapist, Incontinence and Pelvic Pain Clinic
Complimentary yoga demo at 7:45pm – please bring Parmed-x for pregnancy form to paricipate. RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org”
I got the latest Totally Fit Mom email newsletter a couple days ago. Here are the highlights:
- A variety of in-home prenatal and postnatal personal training packages
- A Stretch, Flex & Strength prenatal fitness fusion class at Wildwood Park Community Centre starting on March 12. “This 45-minute yoga, tai-chi and pilates-inspired fusion class begins with a warm-up and lower body strength exercises followed by core strength work, flexibility moves for the release of muscle tension and ends with some gentle stretching.”
- Stroller Moms Winnipeg is 5 years old and to celebrate they’ll be offering 2009 pricing on their sessions, which are held at Assiniboine Park, Kildonan Park, St. Vital Park and Crescent Drive Park. Watch for registration to open in April.
